About me
Hi, I’m Tracey, I am a documentary photographer capturing the real, the raw, and the beautifully unfiltered.
Based in Colchester, Essex and travelling across the UK, I’m drawn to the moments that happen in between: the laughter that erupts without warning, the quiet gestures, the electricity of a room shifting. I photograph with heart and instinct, turning natural, unscripted moments into art.
From wild festival weddings to intimate elopements and high‑impact events, my work is rooted in human connection. I’m here to document what unfolds organically and shape it into imagery that feels textured, emotional, and unmistakably true to you.
The art of the unscripted
Whether I am backstage at a festival, in the middle of a wedding dance floor, or documenting a corporate summit, I am looking for the same thing: the grit, the grace, and the unscripted moments that define us.
My work as a documentary photographer is about archiving the energy in the room. I specialise in capturing the raw, unfiltered moments, the emotion and the atmosphere of your wedding or event.
What about the non-photography bits about you?
Photography is my number one passion, and they say do something you love and you will never work a day in your life! That is certainly true for me.
I get asked all the time, what else do you do? when I am not working with my camera, I am often still with my camera for fun, doing street photography around London or going to a photography talk or exhibition.
My other loves are travelling and cricket. I am fortunate to have travelled to many far and wide places all over the world and I am itching to do more! I play cricket for a local ladies cricket team. I also have a dog called Benji, who loves to play ‘stick’.
I enjoy time with friends and family, cinema, theatre, drinks at the bar, coffee shops (mine is a dirty chai or a flat white) - what’s yours?
If someone is serving a tumeric latte I am in love! I adore these. They serve these at The Minories Cafe in Colchester, wow they are good!
I like cold water swimming, spontaneous adventures, stars at night and being in nature as well as being in the city, I like the architecture and cityscapes of London.
I guess that is me in a nut shell. I would love to hear all about you!!!
“From start to finish, Tracey was professional, friendly, and incredibly talented. She made everyone feel comfortable and captured so many beautiful, natural moments that we will treasure forever. The photos are stunning and perfectly tell the story of such a special day for our family.
What touched us even more was Tracey's kindness and dedication.”
