Calvin and Lyndsey made the most of the season they got married in, at charming Essex wedding venue.
A beautiful autumn day, ‘Apricity’ (the warmth of sunshine in winter) was certainly here for the remarkable wedding day of Calvin and Lyndsey who exchanged vows at the atmospheric and iconic Barn Brasserie Wedding Venue in Great Tey, Essex. It was clear from the get go that Calvin and Lyndsey wanted to embrace the season they were getting married in and use inspiration from the majesty of Autumn to enhance their day.

The leaves were fully autumnal with oranges, reds, yellows and the grass still very green; so much colour and vibrancy of the season. I think Autumn is such a time of letting go of what no longer serves us, and celebrating the simplicity of all that adds colour to our life. Calvin and Lyndsey certainly added such joy and colour to each others lives and from my first interaction with them it was so evident to see that their spark was special, deep and rooted, like the trees.
There special day was to be simple and rustic with bridesmaids in autumnal, rust orange colours and gorgeous white pumpkins on the tables to highlight the season. Lyndseys bouquet was wild and rustic with rust oranges and oat colours. Calvin wore a gorgeous oat coloured and Lyndsey wore a modern, elegant wedding dress with beautiful lace and sparkling details. Lyndsey’s veil was soft and had a timeless, classic look and feel. The autumn colour palette, the ambience of the Barn, the clean and elegant fashion choices, the uncomplicated, yet sublime details all fused together in a stunning way to create such a beautiful back drop for their fabulous day.
Lyndsey arrived in a special wedding car, a luxury, silver Mercedes-Benz. Calvin and Lyndsey then spoke separately to the registrars. To calm the pre-wedding nerves and to make the most of the beautiful courtyard outside, Calvin and Lyndsey opted for a private first look with each other. To be witnessed only by the bridesmaids, flower girls and page boys. This was a really special and intimate moment for all of them to share, helping to ease the pressure of the day and share this emotion together.

The rest of the day unfolded beautifully, with a wonderful ceremony followed by confetti, some group and couple portraits, a great dinner, fabulous and funny speeches, a great cake moment and a very romantic first dance. The dance floor then went wild with great tunes from the resident DJ and Mr & Mrs Jackson celebrated in style, in fun and in the adoration of all of their lovely friends and family.
From white pumpkins to rust orange wild flowers, to the beautiful surroundings of the Barn Brasserie, with golden leaves and fields of joy, this very special, autumn inspired wedding was a celebration of love, happiness, strength, family, of this incredible chemistry and connection that these two have and the community of supporters witnessing their commitment and dedication. A promise of longevity, of fun, compassion and many great adventures ahead.
Calvin and Lyndsey, it was such a pleasure to be part of your incredible story, to help you preserve memories of your very special day. I wish you both the absolute best of everlasting joy, happiness and love.
