As Lucy’s and Toby’s wedding photographer I was let in on their secret, a very privileged secret to hold indeed. They were having dancing lessons, and not only that, they had an amazing routine prepared for their first dance as a married couple. Not only did this routine surprise and wow guests, it had a drop kiss, twirls and Lucy’s dress sang and moved with twists and turns, it was a beautiful, fun, authentic moment in their wedding day that truly blew everyone away.

After the first dance, cover band ‘Mr Coverman and The Brown Paper Bag’ kept the dance floor just as alive and it continued to be an atmosphere of absolute celebration the whole night through. The night was electric and it really topped off what was a fabulous, romantic, joyful, fun day.

From preparations to party I am not sure that there was a moment where there was not laughter, smiling, tears and there was even a brilliant, hilarious poem from the most charismatic Uncle. This is the Uncle you want to have at every party.

Everything from beginning to end worked seamlessly with great organisation and precision in planning by the wonderful team at Three Hills, Cambridge. A venue I would have no hesitation recommending to couples for intimate weddings. They cared about every detail and were thorough and compassionate in their approach to everything.

Make-Up Artist, Alice Wotton, was fantastic, another caring and lovely person with exceptional talent. Her make up was natural and flawless and it was really inspiring to watch her work.

There are so many amazing things I could say about Lucy and Toby’s wedding day. From the precious moments of getting ready and when Lucy’s Dad, Andrew saw her for the first time as a beautiful bride to the beautiful moments in the ceremony, the fun of confetti, the hilarious and also sentimental and touching speeches, and then the dancing…. wow! what a wedding!

Every one that was involved in Lucy and Toby’s wedding journey and day were great and I was so privileged to be their photographer.

Thank you Lucy & Toby for choosing me to capture your story and be part of such a special day. You are a lovely couple and I know you will have so much happiness and some great adventures ahead of you both.

Thank you x
