Answers to the most popular questions

Do you travel? What is your travel fee?

I am a UK, destination wedding and elopement photographer based in Suffolk.

I love travelling and am a true adventure seeker. I am very happy to travel around the UK and the world to capture your special day.

Travel & accommodation fees are included in the final quote you receive, there will be no hidden fees.

When will we receive our photographs?

You will receive your fully edited digital gallery in no more than 4 weeks from your wedding day.

I am a very conscientious person, so I ensure great quality in post production and good timeliness too.

If you would like to request a luxury, fine art album, this will take a bit longer as more time is needed to carefully choose your favourite photographs together. I use a luxury, UK provider and once we have carefully selected the favourite images it takes approximately 4 weeks for you to receive your album delivered to your home address.

If you have requested wall art or other print related products or a -USB in a keep safe box, the average time for this is also 4 weeks.

How many pages are included with the luxury album?

A luxury, fine art wedding album is available as an add-on or is included in some packages as agreed with you in consultation.

The albums start from 10" x 10" in size at 10 spreads (which is 20 pages). Prices start from £475.

There is the option to change the size of the album (the most popular being 12" x 12"); add additional copies; add more spreads and customise your album.

Please contact me for further information.

Can we request specific photographs?

Yes, absolutely.

I love to do portraits and group photographs and capture the classic wedding celebration imagery, as well as documenting all of the natural, candid moments as they unfold throughout the day.

We will talk about all the specifics of the day in our pre-wedding consultation, including a review of the timeline, number of groups photographs and names of group combinations.

Should we have a pre-wedding / engagement session?

If you would like an engagement session (otherwise known as a pre-wedding photography session) then I am very happy to arrange this with you and your partner. It is a great way for us to get to know each other and for you both to get use to being around a camera. It can also be great for 'save the date' invites and they are so much fun!

If you would like to enquire about an engagement session, please get in touch with me.

What happens if you are ill on the day?

Although this will be exceptionally unlucky for this to happen, it can happen. If it does, do not fear, I have a huge network of trusted photographers that I can call on. I also work closely with a team of associate photographers that I use frequently that work with me on a regular basis as my second photographers. I will endeavour to ensure the replacement photographer is as local as possible and that they are as similar to me in style as possible. Including a second photographer in your package also helps to ensure that added coverage.

I would always highly recommend including a second photographer for greater comprehensive coverage of your special day.

Are you insured?

Yes I am fully insured, including full public liability insurance.

What are the benefits of having a second photographer?

Having a second photographer ensures more extensive and comprehensive coverage of your special day, including greater variety of photographs, from all different angles and perspectives; with more candid opportunities and more guests being captured. It also includes both parties being able to be photographed getting ready. No one misses out! Further than that, it offers more extensive range of equipment and back up available and used, combined and collective skill and talent of two creatives and a faster process for group photographs due to the support in organisation. I would always recommend two photographers for any wedding, big or small, due to the amazing benefits of two artists working together for your special day.

Can we have the RAW files?

This is not something I offer and it is not common for professional photographers to offer this. Professional photographers shoot in RAW because we have editing software where we foster our style and creativity in post-production. This is where our artistry comes out again, with each photographer having their own unique editing style.

What makes you different from other photographers?

I am warm hearted and friendly, bubbly and thoughtful too. My style is capturing in-the-moment photographs that could otherwise go unrealised. I love to capture the moments that will be cherished for years to come! I am also a project manager & nurse by background so I come with exceptional organisational skills too.

What will you wear to the wedding?

I will dress very smart and also comfortable so I can bend and move freely to capture those creative moments. I will be in flat, smart footwear so I can last for hours on my feet.

Do you bring back up equipment with you?

Yes and lots of it. I bring a back up camera body, back up lenses, back up memory cards, batteries, chargers, lens caps, straps. Everything has a back up. I take weddings very seriously and will never attend a wedding without all of my back up equipment available to me.

Are you dog friendly?

Yes I am very dog friendly. I am a dog mum myself to my adorable American cocker spaniel, Benji. Pets are part of the family and if they are a special part of your day I will gladly capture them in beautiful moments and memories that I hope you can cherish for a lifetime.

In addition to being dog friendly I am also equine friendly and all animal friendly. I have experience in pet and equine photography.

Do you offer prints and wall art?

Yes you can include products as part of package arrangements during our consultations or you can order prints and wall art directly from your online client gallery. If you need any assistance at all I am happy to guide you through the process and support you in this.

Do you offer USBs?

Yes, I offer USB's, which can be discussed in our consultations as part of your package, or it can be something you add on at a later date. If this is something you would like to add on please let me know and I can give you more details.

What is your style of photography?

I would describe my photography as timeless, unique, elegant and storytelling.
Fine art - I pay attention to details & have an ability to take the most beautiful, elegant, natural portraits. I have a creative approach and look for those moments that I think will be incredible wall art for your home.
Documentary - Capturing the natural, in-the-moment, authentic, true story of your special day as it organically unfolds. Capturing genuine connection and emotions.
Classic - I capture the classic celebration imagery that has been loved for generations.

why do you do wedding photography?

It is a privilege to be part of such a special day. There is no other day quite like it, from every emotion felt from nerves and anticipation to excitement and joy. Love and compassion to tears and laughter. It is a rare thing to be in such a place to be able to take photographs of such a one off moment in time. One day in two peoples life where everyone they love is with them, celebrating everything that is them. With them, for them, about them.
